How We Operate

Rescue Express operates in many ways:

Every contribution, whether large or small, will support freedom rides for our animals to their forever homes! 100 percent of your donation is applied towards the cost of transporting and is fully tax deductible. Help us continue our lifesaving mission.

  1. Monthly trips are available for partners to send animals on our bus from San Fernando, CA that runs up to the Washington and Canadian border. We are expanding more runs along the East Coast.
  2. Rescue partners lease our buses free of charge and operate their own monthly trips north carrying 100+ animals to receiving partners that find their forever homes.
  3. Our buses are available to help rescue organizations and humane societies with natural disaster relief to bring pets to safety, relocate, and reunite them with their owners.
  4. Our buses and vans are used as spay/neuter mobile clinics in Mexico with our rescue partners.

Rescue Express will be adding new routes throughout the US as the demand grows for our rescue transports. Want to be a rescue partner? We are looking for shelters, rescue groups, or passionate individuals that would like to bring the Rescue Express lifesaving transport program to their part of the country.

We are working to reduce the number of animals needing relocation with innovative, multi-prong initiatives including: support for low cost and mandatory spay/neuter initiatives and lobbying for improved local animal regulations and enforcement.
