A busload of living, breathing souls on their way to a second chance at life is, in our opinion, the most precious cargo imaginable. In order to deliver rescue animals safely to their new destination, there is nothing quite as important as having a great team in place to assist with operations. Great communication skills, supreme organizational abilities, and the capacity to troubleshoot in a moment’s notice are essential to keeping things running smoothly. With this in mind, we are thrilled to welcome Danielle J. Soto as our new Director Of Operations.
Danielle began her business career managing Lou’s Records of Encinitas, an iconic institution in North County San Diego, before moving to Chicago to start up a renowned international music distribution and record label company. As a native Southern Californian, she loves the outdoors, but most of all, she loves dogs… She’s compassionate and loving to all animals, but crazy about man’s best friend. Danielle has volunteered her free time fostering and rehabilitating Rottweilers from Dawg Squad, a Los Angeles rescue group, and has completed a nationally certified course in Small Animal/Canine Acupressure from Ojai School of Massage in 2008. Sorry, no human acupressure, only dogs!
We look forward to having her on board the Rescue Express!
